Testimonials

Hear it from our students

I loved how I was able to immerse myself fully without distraction, giving my complete attention to each experience as it unfolded. The days were thoughtfully planned and structured, yet intuitively adapted to suit the mood and moment.

My biggest learning was a continuation of my Yin practice—the profound effect it has on both body and mind.

The wisdom from Verity as she drip-fed speckles of information whilst holding poses has improved my daily practice massively because I now understand what is happening to my body, what I am feeling and how I can work with it.

And to add, it was so relaxing and my body was in heaven!

There were so many good conversations that I’m not sure which one really stood out for me as I found them all equally valuable and insightful. I read Bernie’s book before the training and a bit of Sarah’s but being in actual training helped me to connect all the dots. Being in the training space, hearing different perspectives, and practicing together helped everything land in a way that reading alone couldn’t.

I enjoyed learning about how you teach, how we can combine yin and yang practices as well and what the best practice is whilst holding the space for students which is different to vinyasa classes.

I so enjoyed the whole experience. However, the most memorable and meaningful parts were the practices and posture lab. This culminated in the opportunity to teach a sequence with some of the group. This was a significant moment for me as it was the first time I had ever ‘taught’. It was memorable and gave me the opportunity to try something I didn’t believe I had the confidence to do.

You helped remove the fear factor and by framing it as an enjoyable learning experience, with no pressure, meant I truly loved sharing my sequence with the others.

You’re a wonderful teacher & I’m so grateful for the wisdom you’ve shared with us. The course has given me more than I could ever have hoped for, and I am all the better for attending; the meditations and guidance on anchoring/grounding were invaluable to me, advice on how to hold space, how to empower myself and others, was tremendously helpful and the lecture on fascia was so informative and I really enjoyed it! On a personal level, learning about hypermobility was fascinating!
